Dal 27 agosto è in rotazione radiofonica "L'Anima Vola", primo singolo estratto dall'omonimo nuovo album di ELISA, atteso per il 15 ottobre (pubblicato da Sugar) e che l'artista presenterà live nei più importanti palasport d'Italia, con un tour che partirà da marzo 2014.
Gli archi, che caratterizzano il sound de "L'Anima Vola" (testo e musica di Elisa), sono stati arrangiati e suonati da Davide Rossi (Coldplay, Goldfrapp).
"L'ANIMA VOLA" (#lanimavola), è il primo album di Elisa composto da brani interamente scritti in italiano: uno dei talenti più brillanti e apprezzati della musica italiana dà voce, con una nuova veste, al suo poliedrico universo artistico.
Elisa torna così sulle scene discografiche con un disco di cui ancora una volta è autrice di musica e testi, ad eccezione di un brano che, come fu per il grande successo de "Gli ostacoli del cuore" (2006), è stato scritto interamente da Ligabue. Gli amici e colleghi Tiziano Ferro e Giuliano Sangiorgi, invece, hanno scritto i testi di due brani contenuti ne "L'ANIMA VOLA". Ad impreziosire il progetto discografico, inoltre, il brano "Ancora Qui", il cui testo è stato scritto da Elisa sulla musica del Maestro Ennio Morricone (incluso nella colonna sonora dell'ultimo film di Quentin Tarantino "Django Unchained").
"L'ANIMA VOLA", pubblicato da Sugar, esce a 4 anni dall'ultimo disco di inediti "Heart" (2009) ed è l'ottavo disco in studio di Elisa (dopo il progetto discografico "Ivy" del 2010).
